Legal disclaimer
Every page on this site is an engineering interpretation of the testing requirements under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689. No page is legal advice. The publisher is a Polish limited liability company and not a law firm. Readers verify each obligation against the consolidated text on EUR-Lex and with qualified counsel. This page states what the disclaimer covers: the publisher, the nature of the content, how dates and standards render, what the browser tools produce, and the limit of the publisher's liability.
Publisher
The publisher of this site is AIAssuranceLabs sp. z o.o., a Polish limited liability company with its headquarters in Poland. The name implies no affiliation with, endorsement by, or mandate from any institution, body, office or agency of the European Union. The organisation is the only author; every page carries the byline AIAssuranceLabs and no individual author.
Nature of the content
The site maps the testing requirements of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 to test procedures, documents and evidence. The mapping is an engineering reading of the article text and of the standards listed on /standards/. The mapping is not legal advice and is not a legal opinion on classification, applicability or liability. Reading a page, running a tool, or writing to the contact address creates no attorney-client relationship and no engagement. Compliance decisions remain with the provider or deployer, their notified body, and their counsel. The boundary of the work AIAssuranceLabs offers is stated on its own page.
Regulatory information and dates
Every application date, status and verified-on stamp on this site renders from the regulation data through the StatusBadge and VerifiedOn components; no page types a date. Each entry in that data names the source read and the date on which it was read, shown as the verified-on stamp under the disclaimer on every regulatory page. The stamp at the top of this page shows the anchor date of the last full verification run. The application timeline and the changes made by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744 are on /regulation/. The change log at /regulation/changelog/ records every change to the regulation data with its source and the pages updated. Where a rendering on this site and the consolidated text of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on EUR-Lex differ, the consolidated text prevails. The disclaimer on each regulatory page links to that text.
Standards
Every standard named on this site carries its stage from the standards data: draft, enquiry, approval, published, or cited in the Official Journal. A draft standard, for example prEN 18229-2Draft, is a working document of its technical committee and binds nobody. Presumption of conformity attaches under Article 40 only to a harmonised standard cited in the Official Journal; none is cited as of the anchor date shown in the stamp on this page. Test results against a draft standard or an ISO/IEC reference are evidence of the state of the art at the time of the test. Such results carry no presumption of conformity, and no page on this site presents them as one.
Tools and templates
The tools and templates on this site run in the browser from JSON bundled at build. A page load fetches nothing from any server, and nothing entered into a tool leaves the browser. The site sets no analytics and no tracking. Each tool output is labelled a reasoned technical assessment for discussion with counsel. A tool output is not a legal opinion on classification, on the applicability of an obligation, or on liability. The logic of each tool is published on /methodology/.
Liability
The content is provided as published, without any warranty of completeness, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. The publisher accepts no liability for any decision taken, or not taken, on the basis of the content of this site, including the classification of an AI system, the choice of a conformity assessment route, or the timing of any obligation. Nothing on this page excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law.
