Tools
Four tools run in the browser from data bundled at build: a risk and role classifier, an obligation tracker, a test checklist generator and a traceability matrix template. Nothing entered is sent anywhere. Each tool reads its rules from open JSON files published on /methodology/tools/, takes its obligation elements from the records behind /obligations/, and renders every date from the regulation data In force. The classifier output is a reasoned technical assessment for discussion with counsel.
The four tools
The table lists each tool, what it produces and the logic files behind it. The classifier result is passed to the other three tools through the page address, so a classification made once prefills the tracker, the checklist and the matrix.
| Tool | What it produces | Logic |
|---|---|---|
| Risk and role classifier | Eight questions on role, establishment, Annex III match, Annex I product, the Art. | classifier.json, profiles.json |
| Obligation tracker | A per-system view of the obligations and dates for one role and tier. | tracker.json, profiles.json |
| Test checklist generator | A test checklist by classification tier and system type. | checklist.json, profiles.json |
| Traceability matrix template | An obligation to test to evidence matrix, prefilled from a classifier result passed in the page address or from the role and tier chosen on the page. | traceability.json, profiles.json |
How the tools relate to the protocols
The classifier follows the question order of PR-CLS v1.0: role, establishment, Annex III match, Annex I product, the Art. 6(3) filter, Art. 50 functions and general-purpose AI status. The tracker, the checklist and the matrix expand the resulting obligation profile from the same records that the obligation pages render, so an element listed as testable on Art. 15 appears as a test item on the checklist with the protocol that runs it, and as a row on the matrix with the artifact that answers it. The matrix row scheme is the one PR-11-DOC v1.0 uses for the traceability matrix deliverable specified on /deliverables/.
What a tool result is not
A tool result is a working document for the organisation's own file. It is not a classification decision under Art. 6, not a conformity assessment under Art. 43, and not legal advice; the legal disclaimer applies to every result. The templates page holds the Annex IV outline, the FRIA outline, the protocol skeleton and the evidence pack index that the tool outputs feed. The services that run the same protocols with the organisation's system and documents are listed on /services/, within the limits set out at what we cannot do.
